PLEASE NOTE: When you begin the programming sequence to sync your remote to your installed remote keyless entry (RKE) system, you MUST HAVE ALL OF YOUR REMOTES (Including PREVIOUSLY PROGRAMMED remote(s)) to be programmed with you at the time of programming.
ALL PREVIOUSLY PROGRAMMED REMOTES WILL BE ERASED AT THIS TIME.

There are two possible procedures for Ford Expedition.

Procedure #1 for Ford Expedition:

1. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 5 times within 10 seconds, with the 5th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode.

2. Within 20 seconds press any button on first keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.

3. Within 20 seconds, press any button on second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming.

4. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

Procedure #2 for Ford Expedition:

1. Gather all remotes.

2. If vehicle is equipped with memory seats program the No. 1 remote (marked on back of remote transmitter) 1st and the No. 2 remote second, etc.

3. Switch the ignition from off to ON 8 times within 10 seconds

4. The doors should lock then unlock

5. Within 7 seconds push any button on first remote

6. The doors should lock then unlock

7. Within 7 seconds push any button on second remote

8. The doors should lock then unlock

9. Within 7 seconds push any button on third remote

10. The doors should lock then unlock

11. Within 7 seconds push any button on fourth remote

12. The doors should lock then unlock

13. If door locks dont operate: Wait a few seconds and then push the remote button again.

14. Turn ignition to off position. Doors should lock and unlock (remote is programmed)

Procedure for Lincoln Navigator:

1. Close all doors and then open drivers door and press the UNLOCK button on drivers door panel while door is open and insert key in ignition.

2. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode.

3. Within 20 seconds press any button on first keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.

4. Within 20 seconds, press any button on second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming.

5. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

An aftermarket remote or key is a product that is not associated with the brand of your vehicle. Because of this, they tend to be a bit cheaper than remotes and keys that come from your vehicle's manufacturer.

An aftermarket product will still sync up to your vehicle and work just like a regular remote or key, it just won't have your vehicle's logo.
