PLEASE NOTE: When you begin the programming sequence to sync your remote to your installed remote keyless entry (RKE) system, you MUST HAVE ALL OF YOUR REMOTES (Including PREVIOUSLY PROGRAMMED remote(s)) to be programmed with you at the time of programming
ALL PREVIOUSLY PROGRAMMED REMOTES WILL BE ERASED AT THIS TIME.
(This is a safety feature which prevents anyone else from accessing your vehicle.)
UP TO 4 REMOTES MAY BE PROGRAMED/REPROGRAMMED AT ONCE TO YOUR RKE SYSTEM.
AT TIME OF PROGRAMMING, ALL REMOTES (UP TO 4) TO BE PROGRAMED/REPROGRAMMED MUST BE PRESENT.
1. Memory positions of existing keys can be identified using diagnostic equipment
2. If diagnostic equipment available-
3. A. locate vacant memory position for new key
4. B. locate memory position of key to be replaced.
5. C. carry out programming procedure for this key only
6. If diagnostic equip not available
7. Existing key memory positions will be overwritten
8. Switch ignition ON use key not fitted w/ remote
9. Manually lock drivers door using key
10. Within 30 secs do the following - with in 5 secs. Press unlock button on 1st key 1 time (programs memory position 1)
11. Indicator lamps flash once to indicate signal received
12. Wait 5 seconds
13. Press UNLOCK button once to confirm programming
14. Vehicle unlocks programming mode deactivated
15. Switch ignition off. Remove key
16. To program remaining keys into memory positions 2, 3, and 4, carry out the complete procedure below for each key
17. Switch ignition ON, Use key not fitted with remote control
18. Manually lock drivers door using key
