ORDER THIS KEY FOB PART NUMBER HERE: M36HU01WT
PLEASE NOTE: When you begin the programming sequence to sync your remote to your installed remote keyless entry (RKE) system, you MUST HAVE ALL OF YOUR REMOTES (Including PREVIOUSLY PROGRAMMED remote(s)) to be programmed with you at the time of programmingâ¦
ALL PREVIOUSLY PROGRAMMED REMOTES WILL BE ERASED AT THIS TIME.
(This is a safety feature which prevents anyone else from accessing your vehicle.)
KEYLESS REMOTE PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE:
AT TIME OF PROGRAMMING:
ALL remotes to be programmed and/or reprogrammed MUST BE PRESENT.
METHOD #1:
NOTE: The FCC ID must match your other FOB; if you get a different FCC ID, this wonât work. If you donât know the FCC ID, youâll need to go to the dealer to find out which one you need. The FCC IDâs I know of are NBG730956 and M36HU01WT. This is NOT for the Hella system.
Put one key in the on position in the ignition (do not start) and put another key in the driverâs door and turn to the unlock position (counterclockwise) and hold til it beeps three times, about 10-15 seconds, then return to center position (leave in the door).
Then, hit one of the FOB buttons (if you have more than one, you must program all FOBs at the same time or else ones that worked wonât work anymore).
The horn will beep once for the number of FOB, example: 1 beep for the first FOB, 2 beeps for the second, etc.
Then turn the door key back to left until the horn beeps three times to deactivate program mode, and remove the ignition key.
All done, test your FOBs.
If you donât get a beep when you hit a button on the FOB, check the batteries in the FOB. Also, if your car didnât come with any FOBs and you purchased them aftermarket, this will only work if you have a FACTORY alarm system. There will be a white box behind the headlight switch.
METHOD #2:
UP TO 4 REMOTES (total) may be programmed to your vehicleâs system at one time.
1. Insert master key into ignition switch.
2. Switch ignition to on.
3. Within 30 seconds.
4. Insert additional key into driver's door lock.
5. Lock vehicle manually.
6. Push key lock or unlock button.
7. Wait at least 2 seconds.
8. Push key Lock or Unlock button again.
9. Switch ignition to OFF.
Keys can also be programmed using diagnostic equipment.
The manufacturer programming instructions for your vehicle make model and year specify diagnostic programming required.
This keyless entry requires programming by your local dealer or locksmith.
The procedure takes a few seconds to complete so many dealers will do it as a courtesy, but please verify this before purchasing. Some dealers charge for one hour labor to sync your remote with your RKE system. If your dealer does charge a fee, local locksmiths usually charge much less.
