Keyless entry systems have become nearly unviersal on most Buick vehicles, but in 1993 the technology was just emerging on cars like the Roadmaster. If your car was installed with a keyless remote transmitter system, you can still program your key fob remote to the vehicle. This programming sequence can be done by anyone and will allow you to set...
1. Open the trunk of your Buick Roadmaster and access the programming connector in the back of the trunk on the driver's side. You may have to pull back the trim of the trunk to access the connector. The connector is about a 2-by-2-inch black piece with cable ports coming out of both sides and will be attached behind your trunk with a wire.
2. Connect the two ports of the connector together with jumper wires and wait for the locks on the car to cycle automatically.
3. Press any button on your keyless remote and wait for the locks to cycle again to indicate successful programming.
4. Remove the connector wire to end the programming mode once you are finished.
