Programming Instructions:
Ensure that your key has "PK3" stamped on the blade of the key
To add a duplicate key:
1. Insert the original key into the ignition, turn to the ON position and then turn back to OFF and remove the key.
2. Within 15 seconds, insert the new key and turn it to the ON position.
3. The security light will light up for 2 seconds to indicate that the new key has been programmed.
USE THESE STEPS FOR THE 2001+ VEHICLES WITH THE VIN STARTING WITH A "2" OR "3"
YOU MUST HAVE TWO PROGRAMMED KEYS TO DO THIS PROCEDURE
1. Insert the first working key into the ignition cylinder.
2. Turn the ignition cylinder to the ON position.
3. When the security light goes out, remove the key.
4. Insert the second working key and turn the ignition cylinder to the ON position.
5. When the security light goes out, remove the key.
6. Insert the new duplicate key and turn the ignition cylinder to the ON position.
7. When the security light goes out, the key has been programmed.
