2003-2006 Subaru Baja

Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle.

1. Sit in the vehicle in the drivers seat with all doors, trunk, and rear gate closed.
2. Open and close the drivers door.
3. Put key into ignition switch. Cycle ignition switch from OFF to ON (ON is the position just before the engine cranks) ten times as quick as can be done ending up in the lock position. This must be done within 15 seconds. When done properly you will hear the horn sound. Now the vehicle is in programming mode.
4. Open and close the drivers door.
5. Press any button on the first remote. The horn will sound two times to indicate that remote was accepted.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each additional remote that you wish to program to vehicle.
7. Remove the key from the ignition switch. Horn will sound three times to indicate that vehicle is out of programming mode. Test all programmed remotes for proper function.
