Part 12 – Calibration

Instructional Overview

• Zero Point Calibration: Navigate to Options > Settings. Attach the 01RA clamp (closed), 06T tracer, and close the shield. Note that this process deletes previous dimple/track calibration data. Save data once completed.
• Clamp Calibration (Dimple/Track): Under Calibration, select Clamps Dimple Track Keys. Use 01RA 106 107. Follow the on-screen prompts and save the data.
• Mobile Tracer Calibration: Select Mobile Tracer, lower the tracer, and confirm the 01RA clamp is installed. Save data and return the tracer to its starting position.
• Clamp Calibration (Standard): Install the 01VA clamp (Side A) and the Z3 template key using the shoulder stop. Follow the software prompts and save data.
• Critical Safety Tip: Always remove the 06T tracer after calibration. It will break if left installed during a key-cutting cycle.
• Maintenance Note: If the machine is mounted in a vehicle, perform these calibrations more frequently to maintain precision.
