Part 9 – Cutting Track Keys

Instructional Overview

• Vehicle Selection: From the home screen, select Search then Vehicle Keys. Enter the vehicle make, model, and year on the right side to find the specific cutting card.
• Technical Details: Tapping the green card button displays measurements for depth, spacing, cutting angles, and blank dimensions.
• Cutting by Code: Select Code, enter the indirect code, and search. Review the key graphic and cuts, then select Cut (bottom right).
• Machine Setup: The software will specify the necessary clamp and cutter. Setup the Futura Auto accordingly.
• Pro Tip: On the bottom left of the cutting screen, set the cutting speed to 80 or 90. This reduces stress on the hardware and extends the life of your cutter.
• Loading: Insert the track key into the jaw. Ensure the blade is loaded flat and that the tip does not pass the backside of the jaw.
• Execution: Lower the safety shield and select Start on the tablet.
